Tainted Quiche

Friday, December 19th, 2008

Well its officially the end of the year… We’ve just tucked into our last coffee and quiche until we return in 2009. Its been a good year all in all on the quiche front. We’ve managed to eat them almost every Friday. We introduced a new flavour to our plates back in August… spinach and walnut. The nutmeg really comes through. Provencal is still our favourite but spinach is also delicious. Who knows what will happen in 2009! I can’t believe its all over… More More More!!!

P.S. Never ever cut the quiche with the Almond Croissant knife. Its a sin!

Last night the lady and I had a rather delicious takeaway from Suwanna Siam, the Thai restaurant down the causeway in Bicester. We’ve been there a few times before and never been dissapointed, so now that it has the official ‘BIG D seal of approval’ I think you should treat yourself and go there too. Enjoy x

And the winner is…

Please put your hands together and congratulate… (drum roll)

Raja Syazwani Raja Khairuddin from Malaysia

We’re hoping to bring you a photo of the lucky lady soon. In the meantime, see below for two pictures taken at the awards ceremony. As you can see, it was the genuine Santa who plucked the winner’s name from the hat. Santa never lies. Or cheats.

Well done to all those who took the time to find that pesky robin. He was hiding on the Marlborough Oriental Rug Gallery page (in the ‘corporate‘ page of the ‘our work’ section).

See you at the awards ceremony for 2009′s Albums of the Year.
