We bought our TV from our local, independent electrical shop just before Christmas. Wadleys have been selling electrical goods to the people of Bicester since Roman times. I’m sure they’re not the cheapest and if we’d have searched on the internet we’d probably have got a better price, but their service is second to none. Yesterday, the TV remote control stopped working. I looked on the internet and prices for new ones ranged from £25 to £50. Oh dear. We popped into Wadleys at lunchtime to ask what they suggest we do. The lovely chap opened a draw, pulled out a brand new remote control and gave it to us for free. Wonderful. You wouldn’t get that at Currys. Or Comet.
I’m so glad its Car boot sale season again. We went to the Burcot sale (near Abingdon, Oxford, England, Europe, The World) on Sunday and found all manner of interesting items. One of which is this splendid Mr Tickle, who I’m sure you’ll agree is quite splendid! If you turn his hat his arms move ALL THE WAY ROUND!!!!! Fantastic. There was also a Mr Rush but he wasn’t as nice. But I still bought him.
